Spike Jonze’s new short for Absolut. See it here.

Well we didn’t make such a big thing of the Winter Olympics while it was on, amazing as it was, especially the boardercross and luge, skeleton & bobsleigh events. But i think The Big Picture’s set of the Winter Olympics has really captured what a unique & successful event Vancouver 2010 was. Were next!

He always make you raise a smile…
The brixton pound was launched last Thursday at Lambeth Town hall. Designed by Rob Adderly we like the jaunty angles, colours & bold typography, I just hope Rob lives in Brixton with the whole idea of the project keeping local money in the Brixton economy. The notes feature local heros, pictured is Olive Morris, Brixton Black Women’s Group Founder. But time will tell if they really catch on. Being Brixtonians ourselves we look forward to getting hold of more of the currency in the coming months. It’s a pity theres no David Bowie, however all those featured on the note thoroughly deserve the recognition. Read more about the Brixton Pound on their blog here.

Lovely ad… well done.
Britain’s first plastic bag free town, well done guys but as you say on your website there are a lot of non plastic bag solutions that can be as environmentally damaging as plastic bags. But full marks for doing it, I rarely use plastic bags at the supermarket and always find we have a shortage at home for muddy football boots, bike saddle protectors, impromptu wrapping, tidying and the like, how do you survive without plastic bags? And is there a black market in plastic bags, dodgy kids hanging about with plastic bags under their jumpers selling, 50 for a tenner to unsuspecting housewife’s while their husbands are out playing football on a Saturday morning?

Nice T-Shirt ripping off the hip-hop icons logo, although I’m sure they’d approve. One of the more interesting uses of the now president’s image.

If anyone would like to let me know who’s behind these great t-shirts and would like a credit drop us a line.
Well it is sort of letting someone else do the work for you, in terms of our blog. But ill have to let myself of after reading this article by Paul Shaw, on the AIGA website. It is a very interesting and informative essay on the formation of the New York subway system signage, and links in well with an earlier post of out on the New York Subway Map

Honda made a live tv ad, quite amazing really considering how much planning and re-shooting goes into a normal ad. Produced inhouse by channel 4, a UK tv first.
